I just cant shake these guys… you know when you get a new CD and immediately love every song? And then you listen to it over and over… two years and it’s still in heavy rotation and I don’t see it fading anytime soon. Might be the best record I have bought in the last five years…. yeah, I said it. The album is called Twin Cinema…. buy it twice.

The Raconteurs, White Stripes, The Dead Weather… Jack White is crazy good and always surrounds himself with amazing musicians. I think I have liked everything he has recorded or produced. This whole album is great… cool video, too. I’m sure I’ll post some of his country stuff at some point… that’s great, too. Jack shows up in most of my play lists in some form or another and never gets skipped.

Steely Dan – Deacon Blues

Steely Dan can’t be denied… possibly one of the greatest bands of our time. Deacon Blues always makes my play lists and never gets skipped. Maybe not my favorite band of all time, but definately in the top ten… or five, even. Not sure why I chose this as the first post, but why not?
